Bike for Brain Health – Air Canada Foundation Fundraising Prize Draw
Official Contest Terms and Conditions
1. Sponsor
The Bike for Brain Health Air Canada Foundation Prize Draw (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Baycrest Foundation (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who:
- Are registered participants in the Bike for Brain Health event;
- Have raised a minimum of CAD $500 in eligible donations through their official Bike for Brain Health fundraising page by 5:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 31, 2026;
- Are the age of majority at the time of entry; and
- Comply with these Official Terms and Conditions.
Ineligible Participants
The following individuals are not eligible to enter the Contest:
- Members of the Sponsor’s Board of Directors, Directors, Officers, and Executive Management of The Sponsor and all other Baycrest business units;
- Employees, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, Air Canada Foundation, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotional agencies; and
- Immediate family members (including spouses, parents, children, and siblings) of the individuals listed above.
- Any person residing in the same household as an individual described above is also not eligible to enter where such relationship could reasonably be perceived as influencing the integrity of the raffle.
3. Contest Period
The Contest begins on the date the promotion is publicly announced and ends at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on Sunday, May 31, 2026 (the “Contest Closing Date”).
4. How to Enter
No purchase necessary.
Any individual who has raised a minimum of CAD $500 in eligible donations through their official Bike for Brain Health fundraising page by 5:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 31, 2026, will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Contest.
Only donations received and processed by the Sponsor before the Contest Closing Date will qualify toward the fundraising minimum.
Limit of one (1) entry per eligible participant.
5. Prize
There is one (1) prize available to be won consisting of:
• Two (2) Economy Class return tickets to any Air Canada scheduled destination.
Approximate retail value of the prize: up to CAD $9,200.
Prize includes applicable air transportation charges only and excludes:
• taxes;
• fees;
• surcharges;
• airport charges;
• ground transportation;
• accommodations;
• meals;
• travel insurance; and
• any other expenses not specifically stated.
Travel must be completed by May 31, 2027. Blackout dates and travel restrictions apply and will be provided to the confirmed winner at the time of prize fulfillment.
The prize is subject to Air Canada’s applicable terms and conditions and availability.
6. Prize Draw
A random draw will be conducted on or about Thursday, June 4, 2026 in Ontario from among all eligible entries received.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
7. Winner Notification and Requirements
The selected entrant will be contacted by phone and/or email using the contact information associated with their Bike for Brain Health registration.
To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must:
• sign and return any required declaration and release forms within the time specified by the Sponsor; and
• verify their identity by supplying two pieces of Identification that includes their name and address. One piece of ID must be government issued and include a photo and date of birth.
If the selected entrant cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts by the Sponsor, fails to provide the required identification or fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, they may be disqualified and another entrant may be selected.
The winning participant’s first name and last initial will be posted via internet pages, in emails, online and in social media.
Only the selected winner is eligible to collect the prize. Tickets are not transferrable.
8. General Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper administration of the Contest.
The Sponsor is not responsible for:
• lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries or donations;
• technical malfunctions;
• website failures; or
• any other errors related to the administration of the Contest.
All decisions of the Sponsor regarding the Contest are final and binding.
9. Release and Limitation of Liability
By entering the Contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, all other Baycrest business units, Air Canada Foundation, Air Canada, and all the above’s respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any liability arising from participation in the Contest, disputes arising from the distribution of the prize, or acceptance or use of the prize.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used solely for the administration of the Contest and in accordance with the Sponsor’s applicable privacy policies.
11. Governing Law
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations and is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
